A push towards independence for young people from youth care, a listening ear, someone who looks out for you when you move out and helps you find a job – that's what we want to do. On a site located in the geographical heart of Utrecht that offers enough space to live, work, be outdoors, and start a business.
Unique? Absolutely!
Feasible...? We believe so!

What's the plan
Go directly to campaignOf the total investment, 75% is privately covered by the sale of Bert and Simon's own home and a mortgage. For the remaining 25%, we are looking for investors who want to show their commitment to the plan: a living and working space for 4 young adults from youth care who can practice independence.
As a social impact investor, you will receive an interest of 3.5% on your investment, and this will be repaid after 5 years. Simon and Bert personally guarantee these loans.
Social and personal involvement in the project takes precedence over financial returns, which is why we offer nice extras in addition to the interest, so you become part of our project.

Who are we
We are Simon Speelman and Bert Kassies. We have been lovingly fostering children in our family since 2012.
The first two are already grown up and have flown the nest.
Now, for over 6 years, we have had three foster children: a 9-year-old boy, his 11-year-old sister, and their brother, who is now 12 years old.

Without a comfortable home, no one can truly relax. A roof over your head seems so self-evident, but for young people, it often isn't.

In addition to housing, the company Blooms out of the Box also offers the opportunity to gain work experience within a social environment.

Go directly to campaign..you become part of our community and receive an update 4 times a year, informing you about the developments of our project and sharing the personal stories of the young people who live and work with us.

What do we offer in return...

Option A: €1000 You become part of our community and we keep you informed about the developments of our project. You receive a nice sustainable surprise as a memento and thank you! And of course, it remains a loan and you receive 3.5% interest annually.

Option B: €5000 Everything from Option A + 1 x per year a BBQ with all involved investors, residents, and staff who have found a place to live/work thanks to your investment. And you receive 3.5% interest annually.

Option C: €10,000 Everything from Option A&B + after consultation
use of the garden/orchard + facilities for
a business or private closed gathering of up to
50 people.
